Today's schedule at Log - Dragomer brings the semi-final and final competition. The best 40 boulderers (20 men and 20 women) of the world will, like yesterday, face the bouldering problems created by the outstanding chief route setter Jacky Godoffe and his route settting team. Moreover, in the evening finals the spectators will not only see the world's top climbers, but also a show fronted by the Slovene stand-up comedian Boštjan Gorenc - Pižama accompanied by drums and bass guitar.

The total of 121 boulderers, 71 men and 50 women, have completed their first performance on the bouldering World Cup competition at Log - Dragomer. The most successful were Jakob Schubert (AUT), Dmitrii Sharafutdinov (RUS) and Kilian Fischhuber (AUT) together with Shauna Coxey (GBR), Mina Markovič (SLO), Anna Stoehr (AUT) and Akiyo Noguchi (JAP). The Qualifications Have Started

At 10.00 the bouldering World Cup competition at Log - Dragomer (Slovenia) has started with the men's qualifications. The first ones on the climbing wall were some of the favourites: Kilian Fischhuber (AUT), Dmitrii Sharafutdinov (RUS) and Klemen Bečan (SLO).

The Countdown has Started
IFSC Representatives Coming to Ljubljana

These days, the international representatves are arriving to Ljubljana. The first one was Jacky Godoffe from France, the chief route setter of the competition. He is going to be the head of the route setters crew, trying to set spectacular and challenging bouldering routes. He has already visited the venue and is pleased with the climbing wall.
Other works at the venue are also underway: on Thursday, 12th of April, the staff constructed a roof over the climbing wall as well as the area which will host the audience. According to the planning schedule, the venue will be ready for the competition a few days ahead of time.
The press conference took place on Wednesday, 18th of April, at the M Hotel conference room.

A week before the second IFSC bouldering World Cup in 2012 the application deadline is over. Log - Dragomer has surpassed another record. In the history of IFSC World Cups the number of athletes participating in an event has never before reached the number of 125.

This year again, the spectators at the final World Cup bouldering competition at Log - Dragomer on the 22nd of April 2012, will not only get the opportunity to see the world's top climbers, but also a great show fronted by the well-known Slovene stand-up comedian Boštjan Gorenc - Pižama and accompanied by Sergej Ranđelovič (drums) and Jani Hace (bass guitar), the latter being a member of the world famous Slovene rock band Siddharta. And moreover, the National Radio station Val 202 has taken over the media patronage of the two-day event.

IFSC has Appointed its First Representatives

International Federation of Sport Climbing has appointed its first international representatives and officials for the forthcoming World Cup bouldering competition at Log - Dragomer. The organising committee will be very pleased to host Jacky Godoffe, the renowned sport climber and highly esteemed route setter, taking over the role of the chief route setter. Among other competition officials there is also Dejan Miškovič, the well-known Slovene alpine climber, as the international judge.

International Federation of Sport Climbing has completed the list of World Cups and Championships for the year 2012. Due to the high quality of organisation in May 2011 Log - Dragomer has been chosen to organise one of the bouldering World Cups again. The competition will take place on the 21st and 22nd of April 2012.
